Principal

Mr. Cawcutt is the Principal at Homecroft Elementary School. He has been part of the Duluth Public Schools administrative team since 2018. Tom earned a B.A. in Elementary and Middle School Education from Bethel University and an M. Ed & Administrative/K-12 Principal licensure from St. Mary's University. Mr. Cawcutt has been a principal since 2006 serving the Cromwell-Wright and Barnum School districts prior to coming to Duluth. Tom's love for education started in the classroom as a student, carried through to eight years of teaching, and now as a building principal where he is dedicated to serving the staff, students, and families of Homecroft. Outside of school, he loves spending time with family, fishing/hunting, and staying active.
